    Danney Drewry, MD

    Internal Medicine Physician
    The Iowa Clinic

    Dr. Danney Drewry is a board-certified internal medicine physician at The Iowa Clinic located within the greater Des Moines Metroplex. He has been practicing with The Iowa Clinic since 2015 and took on the role of associate medical director for value-based care in 2023. Dr. Drewry’s practice focuses on primary prevention of chronic illness. He also has a strong interest in the management of Diabetes and thyroid disorders. Over the past 2 years Dr. Drewry has worked with The Iowa Clinic, especially primary care on successfully improving their value-based care programs.
    Dr. Drewry was born in the United Kingdom and spent a large protion of his youth growing up in the Chicago area. He received his Undergraduate degree from Drake University in Biology, his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University and went on to complete internal medicine residency including an additional year as chief resident at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. Dr. Drewry and his wife have raised 3 children in the Des Moines area.
